We are well aware that Australia is well known for its koalas, wildlife, beaches, beautiful landscapes and Kylie Minogue. Now darling fashionistas, I hear you saying, “What about fashion?” Fret not ladies and gents, we at ActuallyMAG are always on the hunt for the next best thing, so being the awesome people you know we are, we are sharing with you one of Australia’s most promising menswear designer, Henry Ng.

Orri Henrission is a Melbourne based label which was set on redefining menswear when Henry realized that he was disillusioned with the city’s grim aesthetic of black-on-black. Ever since then, Henry was on the search for a label that shared his upbeat vision. On his own personal style, “I have a vibrant, quirky, dapper and sometimes even outrageous taste, and I found that the local market was not catering to that”. Because of this gap in the market to create stylish with dressy and fun aesthetics, Henry started work on designing his first collection.

Henry has come a long way since his first collection and we think that Orri Henrission is definitely one fashion label to be reaching for the stars. We say this because the label’s Spring/Summer 2010-11 campaign was inspired by Korean pop group Big Bang 2NE1’s music video, ‘Lollipop’ (we hear your screams fangirls).

What we see in Orri Henrission’s latest Autumn/Winter 2012 and Spring/Summer2011-12 (southern hemisphere), are clean, colorful and futuristic looks that are key signatures of the label. Leather panels, color, understated pieces and clothes that fit – don’t you love this collection already?
